Limited Edition of 50 pieces.
Chronoswiss Watch Flying Grand Regulator Open Gear ReSec. CH-6926-BLGO.
For the first time in their history, Chronoswiss have launched their iconic Flying Grand Regulator Open Gear Retrograde Second watch, or ReSec for short, in a 44 millimetre case with an automatic movement. As always, the design reveals an intricate guilloche dial that has been constructed entirely by hand in a striking blue colour. Like other Chronosiwss Open Gear ReSec watches before it, the elaborate 42-part dial offers the multi-dimensional regulator setup with screw on skeletonised train wheel bridges and funnel-like construction for hour display and a retrograde seconds at 6 o’clock.
At the centre, the Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator Open Gear ReSec watch features a large orange lacquered Superluminova Trigono-shaped hand for minutes powered, like the rest of the complications, by the C.301 automatic winding movement. Its in-house construction promises a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, a power reserve of 42 hours and 33 jewels, some of which can be seen through the exhibition case back alongside the Cotes de Geneve decorated rotor. The 44mm case of the Chronoswiss Open Gear ReSec watch is also blue, engineered from electric blue CVD coated stainless steel and incorporates 17 separate components including a screw down case back, blue screw in 100 metre water resistant crown, polished blue screw down bezel and sapphire crystal glass treated with double anti-reflective coating. The limited edition of 50 pieces is finalised by a hand-sewn Hornback crocodile leather strap and a blue CVD folding buckle.
